Your Responsibilities:
- Qualify synchronous generators from various manufacturers for INNIO Jenbacher gas engine applications
- Drive generator quality improvements, cost reduction, and root cause analysis; provide technical expertise at component level
- Maintain and update the engine-generator database for Jenbacher gas engine sets
- Revise and approve generator order specifications; support requisition engineering to meet customer requirements
- Apply engineering guidelines, design practices, and legal standards to ensure efficient engineering and global product compliance
- Collaborate within the generators & grid connection devices team and across disciplines (controls, mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical engineering, systems design)
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components in synchronous generators
- Familiarity with quality systems (ISO), tools (DFMEA, DVP), and techniques (DFSS, DFR)
- Strong communication skills in German and English; comfortable in an international environment
- Willingness to travel
